Black Friday

For the staff at PAS, Friday is a day to wear your favorite sneakers and any pipestone (forest) green top- to show school spirit. but for those of us teacher who do not own as much spirit wear we tend to steer towards wearing pipestones other school color black. Now, I've got too many black tops to count. so this color selection is fine by me. I don't usually like to pick favorites with my clothes but if I had to, this blouse would be a front runner.

¡Buen fin de semana!

Orange you glad it's almost Friday?

Yes, It's almost the weekend. I cannot tell you how excited I am to not do anything and I mean anything. Driving in-between Pipestone, Sioux Falls, Flandreau, and Rochester can wear a girl out. So this weekend, I'm going to get some much needed R&R!

Business in front. Party in back

...Mullet, high-low, or whatever you want to call it, either way I have been seriously digging this trend.  On one of my last adventures to target I found this gem. I loved it so much I had to buy it in black too. I  paired the burnt yellow skirt with a striped button up and polka dot heels.  A little wild and out there but I don't care. I think this outfit rocks!

Genetics

So, basically I was born into an awesome genetic gene pool. My parents are the most wonderful people I know and my sister is my best friend. My brother-in-law is pretty sweet too!Who could ask for more?
These pictures were taken as a gift to my mother. Her birthday and Christmas are pretty close together and she can be so hard to shop for.
 Enjoy! and Happy Hump day!

Reading, Writing, and Arithmatic

To me, this outfit screams TEACHER and I'm totally ok with that. It has all the qualitites of your basic teacher atire complete with a button up top, knee length skirt, and your generic kitten heel! This outfit is not only cute but very practical.
What do you think?

I Feel Pretty

This is by far my favorite work skirt; it makes me feel so unbelievably pretty. My sister, Courtney, gifted me this skirt about a year ago (I don’t think she realized how adorable it was). I mean c’mon, I couldn’t feel more girly if I tried! Another reason why I love this skirt is because it’s so easy to just throw on with a top and look put together. These fast and effortless looks are an essential quality of my wardrobe in order to get me ready for school in a fast manner. When I wear this skirt, the dancer in me finds any excuse to twirl around the room because- let’s face it-it’s fun and isn’t that why they made skirts anyway?

 Home

After a four hour journey from Rochester, it was wonderful to return home to Sioux Falls… with my body pillows and control of the thermostat! Matt likes to keep his apartment "comfortable" which for me means frozen fingers and toes. Personally, I like to keep things a little on the "warmer" side which results in him having a permanent sweat mustache…so we opt for me wearing socks and bundling up with blankets. So after a couple days of chilly extremities and a long car ride, I was ready to be home. After all, there is no better feeling than lying in your own bed! Am I right? Or am I right?

I need to step my picture taking game up. I only snapped a few pictures of this weekend.

Friday night, Matt and I went to watch a couple of his classmates play a show at a local bar in Rochester. The majority of our night was spent with friends. We did a lot of laughing, dancing, and listening to good music.

On Saturday, we went to an awesome haunted house (which gave me nightmares) and spent the rest of our night indoors with pizza and a movie.
 It was a perfect!
