The Princess Diaries
Halloween is always an exciting time of year. It’s a time to dress up, eat sweets, and stay out late. And that is exactly what I did.
My weekend shenanigans began with my friend Mackenzie. She had heard that Sioux Falls had a pretty cool zombie walk and wanted to check it out. One reason why I love Mackenzie is because she always has the low down on what is happening around town. She’s my go to girl for local events. So late Saturday afternoon we ventured downtown for the Zombie Parade. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed. It was flippin’ sweet! Tons and Tons of people dressed up in scary makeup slowly stumbling down Phillips Ave was definitely a site to be seen. I loved every minute of it and am hoping to walk in the parade next year.
Once the parade commenced, we picked up some goodies and headed to our friends house to begin our spooky night out on the town. We decided to go to this Halloween party very last minute. So with little time to plan, I just threw something together. I borrowed a prom dress cerca 2005 and stopped at the dollar store for a wand and crown.
Tada! Princess!
It was by far my favorite Halloween costume to date.
