Broken Crayons and Bloody Noses

 

 Yesterday, I was working with four of my kindergarten ESL students when disaster strikes. BLOODY NOSE!  Now if you know young kids, you know they don't react well when they see blood...especially their own. We have specific procedures we have to follow when coming in contact with blood which didn't help the situation out at all. having to find latex gloves and a bucket isn't exactly convenient when a kid has a fountain of blood gushing from their nostrils. Needless to say it made for a very interesting morning.
